On 13th of January Spirit Clash conducted an AMA in Crypto Revolution Community. Our guests were Sam from Spirit Clash Team and Voltriph, the Founder. Danny | Crypto Revolution: Hi Sam. Happy to have you as well. I know you from another Project before. How are you? ??

Could you please introduce yourself and tell us how did you get involved into Crypto? ??

Sam | Spirit Clash: Yeah! My name is Sam. I’ve been with Spirit Clash for about 1.5 years.

I got into crypto in 2017 but it wasnt until 2018 I began appreciating blockchain technology. I’ve been a gamer all my life. Enjin was a proper home for that :D

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Which one is your favorite Computer game?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Diablo 2. Hands down ??

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Nice. I also used to play Computer Games as a Teenager. Lol. Need for Speed and Counter Strike. Old school games.

So in 2018 if you can describe your Crypto Year in one word what word will be?

Sam | Spirit Clash: You know, it’s funny, I’ve never particularly favored card games growing up.

Which I think has given me an edge. Naturally I want to make something I will also enjoy too, so there will be lots of elements to Spirit Clash

Red. Hahaha. Honestly it was a year for pain and learning for me! But I wouldnt change a thing about it.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Haha. Color Red. Well let’s hope 2021 will be Color Green ??

Could you please describe what is Spirit Clash in few simple sentences for the Community?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Absolutely. Spirit Clash is a trading card game built on Ethereum, and adopted by Enjin. We have a thick history, and this step into defi (with Clash Token) will help accelerate our development and capabilities.

Danny | Crypto Revolution:Trading Card Game sounds really interesting. Do you think with this extremely high gas fees will be hard to make people play the game?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Not at all. We have a hybrid solution planned for functions operating both on and offchain, which will cut down on fees for average players, and will allow us to market to those not involved with cryptocurrency.

On top of this, Enjin has been working on a scaling solution for Ethereum, called Efinity, expected to release this year.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: That’s nice. Why Spirit Clash. How did you come with that name?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Honestly I did not come up with it ?? That would be Voltriph, the founder / lead designer. But i can tell you the game Spirit Clash has been around even longer than 3 years, but it started as a physical game only. This has been his creation for quite a while

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Got it. Is the Voltriph the only designer working on the game?

Sam | Spirit Clash: He islead designer / web front end

Mr. Bill (Deadmau5 / Billegal Beats) sound engineer

17 different artists commissioned for our NFTs

and we have a backend web + Unity developer who has been helping lately.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Are you guys all public?

Sam | Spirit Clash: For the most part, yes. I believe our Unity dev at least has a Github, and he’s signed an NDA. I know this isnt ‘public’ but ??>

Can you share your fundraising situation and how your private and public offering tokens are distributed? What should we prepare if we want to participate?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Okay. As i mentioned we’ve been around quite a while, we had a presale back in 2019 for the NFTs we have now, two old team members ended up leaving and not allocating funds properly.

I’ve been in defi since May-June 2020, so I can easily say this token sale is our main fundraising situation.

Also, i will be handling the sale & token distribution manually, until we have our contract audited. Cant risk so many people getting scammed/exploited.

Voltriph | Spirit Clash: Hey guys :) I happened to have a little available time right now and thought I’d hop in!

I can give a fun answer to the q about why the name came about! Originally, when the game was in its most infantile stages I actually just called it “MBS” as a working title representing mind body and soul. Later deciding that kind of culminates into one’s “spirit” and then spirit clash was born as a name from that ??

Danny | Crypto Revolution: How is the Sale going so far?

Sam | Spirit Clash: We are a little passed 20% to our softcap. Sale ends Jan 25th :)

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Are you going to get listed if you don’t hit the Softcap. I’m sure a lot of people will ask ??

Sam | Spirit Clash: Yes. Because quitting isn’t an option for us. But I know this space, and i know if we just put like 10 eth liquidity it will likely just impact us negatively.

So if we dont hit softcap ill need to burn the supply and get creative.

Danny | Crypto Revolution: Yeap, true ??

Would there be tokens buyback and token burn for your token?

What makes your token spectacular to invest in and the problems it would solve?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Yes! So the idea is to have the token operate as a secondary currency for the game, to buy exclusive items with. When people buy these items, and spend Clash Token, the spent tokens will get burnt.

The cost of the items (in clash token) will be fixed. This doesnt mean its a rebase, it means the token can deflate incredibly low while maintaining its utility and not impacting our userbase :)

Sam | Spirit Clash: Yeah so its called NFT farm because you can stake tokens to yield NFTs to your account. Basically providing [those who stake Clash token] with an opportunity to get involved in the creation of our game, even if they might be less interested in playing the game as others.

Many projects rug pulled and exit scam recently. Why should investors trust your Spirit Clash project not to do the same?

Voltriph | Spirit Clash: Man I had to hop away and now there are so many questions. For this one, Sam and I have both made ourselves incredibly known publicly, whether it be for better or for worse, lol. We want people to know we are real people and who we are, so it’s obvious that we care and want to make a real project. Showing our real faces and names lets people know we don’t plan on going anywhere.

How was the project affected by the Covid 19 outbreak? Did it lead to a change in your roadmap?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Yep 100%. Our project has had its share of roadblocks, I can’t say 2020 was a ‘great year’ for many ??

As we know Scalability is a major problems in most of Blockchains & Dapps. So, How Your Project solves Scalability problems and allows Dapps a great scalability?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Utilizing Enjin’s upcoming ERC adapter & Ethereum scaling solution, we will be able to expand indefinitely. Even if we dont utilize Enjin for some reason, we’ll still figure it out. When a game needs to scale you dont ask why, you simply scale.

How do you plan to spread awareness about your project in different countries/regions where English is not spoken well?

Voltriph | Spirit Clash: As we grow, we plan to create multiple language translations of things. English is just the start :)

How many Card designs does spirit clash have? Can other users make their own cards?

Voltriph | Spirit Clash: We have plans to give the community some fun and creative contests that may involve card creation ??

Kindly explain more about your Tokenomics, Release Schedule and UTILITY, is it inflationary or deflationary?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Only deflationary. No minting allowed unless its NFTs ??

About crypto education, most people don’t know nothing about Nft. Do you have any projects to learn how can the people how to buy and sell a NFT? Like videos tutorials in youtube etc…

Sam | Spirit Clash: Good question, and yes, I do plan on making the onramp for users more simplified. With everything from setting up an Enjin wallet, to setting custom gwei, dealing with ethereum gas, and more.

I am a professional vulnerability finder on the web, do you think Your system is secure enough from hackers? Does your project have a program that rewards individual vulnerability detection of the system?

Sam | Spirit Clash: Our contract is currently unaudited. So no we do not have a bounty program ?? We wont be utilizing the contract for the sale until its audited. At that point we’ll likely have some sort of bounty!
