In this transaction, detected by Whale Alert, Ripple transferred 40 million XRP worth about $ 10 million.
The transaction was made between two wallets belonging to Ripple. The recipient address, called RL18-VN, is thought to be one of Ripple's escrow wallets used in XRP sales to cover its operational expenses.
According to some crypto followers, the transferred value could be part of the payment to 21 lawyers who would represent Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and founder Chris Larsen in court in the SEC case.
