Is Defi the future?

We are starting to witness the rise in Defi projects. And for those who don't know what Defi is.

It stands for Decentralized-Finance.

Defi is a great discovery that changes the whole world we live in.

It allows for people to borrow loans and pay interest, and others to lend loans and earn interest, without the need of a central party or bank, or credit check.

In the past for you to get a loan you would have to go to then bank, fill and sign hundreds of papers. And your request could very well be denied.

And people were not allowed to provide loans legally and earn interest. There exists those loan sharks that give you their money but charge a high interest.

Nowadays with Defi, you can easily take out a loan with very reasonable interest.

Or lend your money and earn interest on them.

Same as when you put money in the bank in your savings account, your bank will use your money for his practices, and in return provide you with a small interest.

Now Defi projects act as those banks where you can lend or borrow money.

There are countless Defi projects popping up everyday in the crypto space. And this craze about Defi feels like the crypto craze in 2017. Where people started FOMO'ing in projects without doing their due diligence.

Same thing is happening now with Defi projects. Many people are attracted to the money grab potential of it. Not assessing the risks of trusting a new platform with their crypto. 

Throwing your money at a project could return you some profits if you were lucky. But you are better off making educated decisions when it comes to investing your crypto.

I am sure the potential bubble forming in Defi is yet to pop and it still might get much bigger before that happens.

Be extra careful investing in those new projects. Don't take another persons word for it. Do Your Own Research.

Only invest what you can afford to lose. Keep in mind those are platforms that can be hacked, that can have design flaws. The Defi space is very new.
