I had in mind to publish this post on the 1st of February, but unfortunately I did not have time to finish writing it. So, today, being one day late, I will give it a try.
We all saw what happened in the crypto-market, especially with WallStreetBets. If you haven't read my previous post about this topic, you can find it here: Have a sip of the WallStreetBets!. I want to announce you that I got rid of my XRP. Even if I lost around $250 of my total investment, I still got an extra $400 as I wouldn't have got three days ago. $250 total loss instead of $650 is a profit, I may say :). I was a bit disappointed yesterday morning when the XRP price exploded, because if I haven't done the withdrawal when I did it, I could have had almost $500 profit on top of my initial investment, but I can't predict the future, so now I'm more than happy with my move.
As I was saying, yesterday was the 1st of February 2021, the first day of February and I want to tell you that this month starts with good news. First of all, the end of each calendar month is very important. Looking at the charts of several crypto-currencies, we see this very clearly. The end of January closed on green and this is a great thing for the entire crypto industry.
Bitcoin has already grown and is $35k, which is an increase compared to the end of January, when BTC registered a a value around 31k - 32k. Personally, I say we are on the right path.
I will now talk briefly about why I think we are on the right track.
First of all, several important events will take place this week.
Frankfurt Digital Finance 2021 takes place on February 3, which is on Wednesday (tomorrow).
It is an event attended by the leaders of large companies from all over the world and it is an event that will also discuss crypto-currencies, which is very important.
They will discuss the legal part, the legislation of the crypto-world. So it's a positive event, which I think will also help the crypto industry.
On February 1, Binance Blockchain Week had started, an event that will last 5 days.
It is an event attended by many people from the crypto industry and I want to mention a few of them: Changpeng Zhao or CZ, founder of Binance, Perianne Boring, founder and president of the Chamber of Digital Commerce, Sergey Nazarov, co-founder of Chainlink, Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of FTX, Nischal Shetty, founder and CEO of WazirX and a very interesting character for me, because I follow the project, although I have no investments, is Denk Mancheski, CEO of Reef Finance. I will talk about this project in a future new post in the Top 100 crypto-currencies series. His presence as a speaker at such an event with very important people in the industry proves to me that Reef is a serious project that aims to do great things. For now, it has a very low value, it is the beginning and it is normal to be like that. I believe in him and I will go with this project in the long run.

Another great event is the one organized by MicroStrategy, which I will talk about it immediately. This is a really big event. This event, together with the other two mentioned above, I think will provide us with the premises for a consolidation of BTC value ??this week. This event starts on February the 4th. The first to be on stage will be Binance. I think it will be broadcasted live. After Binance, will be those from Coinbase, and later Kraken, NYDIG etc.
At some point, Grayscale will also speak, which has recently consolidated its image as the largest buyer of Bitcoin as a fund. In short, this event will be attended by hundreds of people with important positions in industries that can use Bitcoin and I believe that this event will give a boost to the adoption of important crypto-currencies.
I intend to follow and write in the next period about other possible events that will be organized, so as to give you the chance, especially for those who are the beginning of the road like me, to document from official and reliable sources or to follow the latest developments in the crypto world.
